HOME SCREEN AND 'SETTINGS'
4 MAIN BUTTONS
'Register Lost &Found Info': Tap to go to the data entry screen.
'Search For Items': Tap to see an instant list of lost or found info within your search radius and dates.
'Lost & Found Pets': Tap to see an instant list of lost or found pets within your search radius and dates.
'Child Finder': Tap to see an instant list of children listed as 'Found' within your search radius and dates.
('Lost' children cannot be registered on iLost&Found. Please register lost children with local authorities)
'Create Account / Login': Tap to create an account. Once an account is created you can register your own lost and found information.
Settings Cog: If logged in, the 'Settings' cog (top right) will take you to three options
('App Config' only if not logged in).

- Push notifications (notifies upcoming listing expiry)

- Search filters (distance radius and back date setting)
'SETTINGS'
Application Configuration:
'Push Notifications': Listings will auto-delete after three months. By selecting 'On' the app will prompt you to re-energise your listing for a further three months.
'Search Back': This feature allows you to limit how far back in time the app will search for items. This will disqualify search results before this date.
'Search Radius': This feature allows you to set a default maximum search radius from your present location. The highest allowable radius will search the globe for listings. The radius can be adjusted down in the 'Search' screen.
SEARCH FEATURE
Once search results are shown, the 'Search' button appears on the top right of the screen.
Search Window: Type in keyword/s and hit 'Search'.
'Select a Location': To search a different location, pinch zoom the map scale out, then drag and drop the blue location ball onto the desired locality. Tap search; The search radius will then centre on that locality.
'Select Radius': To change the search radius, either drag the slider button or tap the radius window and enter in the desired radius numerically.
'Select Date Range': Tap the windows to select a date range.

DATA ENTRY
Registering data is straight forward. Be sure to slide the Lost/Found slider to the appropriate selection and then touch the appropriate icon at top of the data entry screen.
'Details': Enter a description of the item and details including a contact name if desired.
'Add Photo': Ensure photos are shot in landscape orientation with the shutter button on the right.
Drop Pin: Set the location by using the drop pin. Tap the drop pin icon to open the map screen. Pinch or zoom the map as needed to refine the drop pin location then tap the screen to drop the pin.
* The efficiency of the map load is dependant on the network and GPS signal. Should the map take a long time to load, press the 'back' arrow and re-press the drop pin icon.
MANAGING YOUR LISTINGS
'Edit': Tap 'Edit' then tap the note pad icon to change the data or to de-activate individual listings.
Delete a Listing: Finger swipe the listing to activate the delete function then tap DELETE.
Note: The blue circular icon indicates a 'found' item and a red icon indicates a 'lost'item.
